A little more...

I know Valentines Day is way over. I mean, it is almost March for crying out loud (which I am super happy about by the way!) But, I have been such a slacker at taking pictures, I am a little bit ashamed. And then when I do take them, they sit on my camera forever! So, here are the beautiful flowers that Tyler got me for Valentines Day. I am now wishing I had taken more pictures of that wonderful evening but hopefully my memory will stay good for a long time! I am one lucky girl that is all I have to say!

We love #21

Salmon Savages Basketball! Though I have been teaching at Hunter High School, home of the blue and silver Wolverines, I will always bleed orange and black! Especially, while Josh is still in high school. It has been fun to watch some of Josh's games the last few weeks. It's been a rough season for him but, he has an awesome attitude and it is something he always teaches me. Thanks little brother! Salmon went 6-0 in conference play which put them #1 going into districts. Sounds like the brand new Madison gym was a pretty tough gym to play in. We beat Teton twice but in between those two games, had to play Sugar and lost by 5. In order to win districts, Salmon had to beat Sugar twice. It was close but not close enough. Salmon will play on Saturday in Pocatello playing the winner of the Bear Lake/Snake River game. Good luck boys!

Just a few pictures of the recent games we have attended. Even Brooky is fully supporting orange and black of Salmon. Of course her favorite player being Uncle Josh!

With our favorite player! Sure love ya Josh! Work hard and get them on Saturday! We'll be there cheering on our favorite player, #21!

Parent Teacher Conferences....CHECK

The last parent teacher conferences of 2010-2011 school year are completed. That means two things. 1- a four day weekend and 2- we are getting SO much closer to summertime! For the past two nights I have been living at the school. At times I felt I should have just brought my sleeping bag to school! I realized several things....sometimes I forget kid's names, it is really hard to sit for 3 hours straight on a hard chair and I talk way too much!

In the two days I saw 60 parents/students. And hardly had a moment of free time. (Tonight I did have more down time but spent it chatting with my surprise who stopped by to see me on his way home from Layton! Thanks Tyler!) I just talk so much. It was either I did not want to grade the remainder of my tests or I just wanted to talk. I guess I was destined to be a teacher and talking is one thing that I do really well. And I really can talk all the time. (But for the record, I can be quiet too!)

Though it would have been nice to see more parents/students it is probably a good thing I only had 60 parents out of 200! Otherwise, I would still be there...TALKING!

Happy Valentine's Day

What a great Valentine's Day this year. The weekend before we spent it in Idaho. Josh had a basketball game and creamed Sugar (Good job little brother!) We stayed in Blackfoot for the rest of the weekend. And....I greatly anticipated the evening of the 14th where all I knew was that "dinner would be provided" and I needed to show up at 7.

It was wonderful....candles, dinner, roses, chocolates! It was perfect! Thank you Tyler for a great evening and thank you for being my Valentine! I love you!
