Summer 2012

What a summer it has been. And soon, it will be over! The Hansens have had a wonderful summer, the best thing being that we became the Hansens! And it just so happens that we have been married for exactly two months TODAY! I know, silly to celebrate but I think we need more excuses to celebrate. The past two months have been amazing! I love my husband (ohhhh,I love to say that) so much and am grateful that we can be together  forever.

We have had a great summer and have enjoyed many wonderful things together! We look forward to an amazing fall and more wonderful things to look forward too. Blog posts will be included!

Blog makeover

I think I have been a little ADD with our blog. As this is no longer MY blog but is OUR blog, it needed a changed. Including a name change. But since I am the historian in the family, I will continue to blog. But you might just hear from Tyler every so often!

More wedding...

 Welcome to our Salmon Reception! What are the odds that our neighbors have their yearly "testicle festival" the same day as our reception! Oh the odd things of Salmon, but how I love those odd things!

After a busy busy Friday, we stayed in Idaho Falls that night and the next morning headed to Salmon for one more reception. It was a beautiful day but windy!! Really??? Tyler and I always joke that in Blackfoot there is one day without wind in a year and in Salmon there is one windy day  in the year. Well, it was totally opposite for us the weekend of our wedding. A beautiful day and no wind in Blackfoot and beautiful but windy day in Salmon! But, despite the wind, it was great!

 We had ice cream, cookies of all kinds, cheese tray and fruit. All of my favorite things! And let me say, the ice cream was delicious!!!! :) We had amazing help getting ready. Wonderful aunts, neighbors and ward members. And how can I forget cousins...thanks Tess!!! And brothers and sisters too! They were amazing to do so much work!

 We decided to stay and open our presents before we headed back to Idaho Falls. It was great! We had so much fun opening all our gifts in front of our family. And we had lots of little helpers as you can see. Brooky and Ele were great help. Brooky just kept saying "Open it! Open it! Help...." We almost couldn't keep up with her!

At the end of two long days...who knows what we were doing or saying but, we do know that it was an amazing few days and one that we will never forget!
